Kipnis leadoff jack. First blast since June 17.
Indians called players only meeting before game. I'm sure plenty of valuable things were said.

Can we please put Acta out of his misery?
"I see Aaron Laffey as a front-end #1 starter"- Alan Pawlowski, STO, sometime this month (seriously)
"I will personally see to it that the Indians will not regret this trade"- Jerrod Riggan, after being acquired for Roberto Alomar
"Most GM's see Cliff Lee as a #2 starter"- Tony Lastoria, 2009

Uh...there goes my plan to do a W/L record based on who started the thread.
AmIhereagain wins by default. Plus she's the only girl around here so she should get something for putting up with us jackasses.
/I was kidding about doing that W/L thing. Really. I was. Kidding that is.

Is it sad I turned on the 11 O'clock news rather than keep watching the Indians?
Then Mike Tyson was on Conan.
All together, Tyson telling crazy stories about his life > Indians baseball 2012.

Well, at least Johnny Vander Meer's record is still in tact.

Nice Roger Dorn impression from Brendan Ryan.

Yay! We're not losing! Tied at one in Seattle in the 7th inning on Tuesday, August 21. Just HAD to note that since it happens so infrequently anymore.

Lillibridge needs to throw his bat at that pitch. Can't hang Brantley out to dry. Just try to foul it off.

There's a sign that Acta is managing for his job and not the team's future. Hernandez at 72 pitches and he pulls him with men on 2nd & 3rd, nobody out. Fuck that. You're not playing for anything. Give Hernandez the chance to work out of it. Need to get him to face adversity again if you want him in the rotation next year.
Goes to Rogers. I hope whatever shitbox is up hits a 3-run HR.
