Who cares about the lineups, let's just hope we can avoid the 10-run inning this time around!

These Tribe HOF games make me sad. All I could think of during the ceremony was "Gosh, we used to have good players..." Image

Why the hell is the defense not able to get outs whilst McAllister is on the mound.

back-to-back plays where there was an easy out and we didn't get one in the 4th!

Nice job by Z-Mac with the 7 strong innings..... question is, does Manny send him back out for the 8th at only 87 pitches or does he go the tried and tested route with the Big Vin?!

Nice hustle by Lillibridge over troubled water!!

3-for-3 for Lillibrige, the rest of the team 0-for-16!

Brilliant from Z-mac!

If this guy could learn not to cave in after the defense implodes, we might have something.

The question is, if the Indians win and no-one is watching.... did it really happen?!

Seemed like the usual contingent of Sox fans crawled out from under their rocks to support their boys.

IMO he made it around part of another bend in his learning curve. I don't expect it to be clear sailing for him from now on (seeing as how I've been a fan so long I ALWAYS expect bumps in the road) but keeping his concentration after the two runs scored seemed like a biggish deal to me. JMO YMMV

First win I've been there for since May 22. That felt good.

I was thinking the same thing. He showed some mental toughness for the first time.

Not having to face David Ortiz or Kevin Youkilis helped. The Red Sox lineup isn't nearly as formidable as it used to be. Still, an excellent outing by McAlister. Last week he probably would have imploded after his defense let him down, so it was great to see him minimize the damage and then put up four zeroes.

Hey, we beat a pretty good lefty and will get a least a split in the series. We're still adrift in an ocean of suck, but at least we're no longer taking on water.
