Nice to see Choo hammer a mistake.

Really want this one today. A 5-4 trip is really strong. Assuming they follow it up with 4-2 or better at home.

Tomlin low bridges the pitcher for a single.

Wonder if he can play LF.

AL should get rid of the DH if this is how our pitchers swing the bat.

Meh. During the day, this is probably the worst ballpark in the league for a flyball pitcher.

Can't say I'm surprised with this so far.

Tomlin leaves with a 5.56. Leake leaves with a 5.05.

Even more than Danny Valencia?

Yeah, I hate him too. Such a big fan-friendly team player. Flipped the switch immediately after hitting under .200 with the Tribe, like all these guys now hit.

Honestly, this really bites. I live in Cinc so everyone has to come over and discuss.
Doing my best to be gracious. When a Cleveland team beats a Cinc team, you can hear the crickets.

But Lebron losing tonite would make everything better.

No apologies.

James winning a title isn't what would grate on me. It would be the redemption story, and the notion that the Miami move was the right one.

Without a title, it is aguable that his team is really no better than his best Cavalier teams.
They have no real prospects for improvement, either.

The Twins are the only AL team with a worse run differential than the Tribe. We might indeed be a less than great team.

It wasn't all bad. I didn't have to watch Damon or Kotchman hit, I mean "swing the bat", because I turned it off in the 7th.

So much for Matt Barnes' 0.00 ERA. Five runs in 1/3 of an inning. Welcome to the bigs, son.

Votto is so good it should be illegal. I don't think he had a base hit to right field the entire series and he killed us. Even a couple of his outs were line drives to 3rd. I'm glad the Reds signed him to a 10-year deal so he won't end up playing for the Tigers or White Sox.

Brandon Phillips can't retire soon enough. Neither can Paul Konerko, speaking of White Sox.

Josh Tomlin is now 4-for-7 lifetime as a hitter. Can he play left field? At least he has a fallback if this pitching thing doesn't work out for him.

Kipnis has played every game this year and it might be wearing on him. He was 2-for-12 in the series and one hit was a bunt. Manny took him out after the game got out of hand.

Why is Aaron Cunningham still wearing a major league uniform? Either make a trade for a left fielder or bring up Trevor Crowe or Jared Goedert.

Lou Marson with three hits, all off right-handed pitching. That's got to be a first.

Hope we can get some payback when these guys come to Cleveland, but we'll have to play a lot better. That was one butt-kicking the Reds administered.
