that was butt ugly but I'll take 3 runs in 6 from Jimenez all day long. He did his job. This game is a must. I do not like the next two pitching matchups. Choo has been a superb leadoff hitter.

Damon: 10 games/43 ABs, .433
Brantley: 21 games/93 ABs, .630
Kipnis: a measly 1 game/3 ABs, .933
AND....
Choo! 7 games/29 ABs, 1.057! Wow!

In the context of the season, it's just a win. But, with the pitching match-ups the rest of the series it was a pretty important game to win in the context of the series.

Nice to get that first one.

With a ten game winning streak against us, even though it was last season, a loss might have gotten more in the Tribe's heads.

Also, I kept seeing Demitri in one of those field boxes. And he wasn't one of those assholes who spends half the game on his phone waving in the direction of the camera.

it was a massive win as you said. I'd be overjoyed with a split of the next two.

that was fun watching Perez get the last two. I read on cbs sportsline they were called Miggy and Piggy by angry Tiger fans!
