Seemed like a Brandon Phillips to me. Benched for not running out a pop up. He might be a slight upgrade over Marte. I still wish we could get a proven bat at third.

I love Encarnacion but I would not trade Marte for him. Here's the interesting part; I would start Encarnacion over Marte.

Someone started a post that he heard the Indians were looking for help at first and third, but I believe that they are looking for a veteran to step in. I think they would look at an Encarnacion trade, but no major pieces would be moved.
