Nice, even a bum can turn on a batting practice fast ball, or bums plural if you count the Lopez double.

How awful must Pavano be is Lopez and Kothman are getting extra base hits? Nice knocks though.

Yep. All I heard was the voice of Rube Baker in Major League 2 going "Oh My God!" when he hit a HR in Game 3 of the ALCS v. the White Sox.

Santana going to LF for a sac fly and hitting a hard ground ball up the middle. Starting to stay on the ball better. Might be time for him to go on a little streak here.

In case you're wondering, and I'm sure you're not, the Rays just signed Ryan Garko to a minor league deal.

How bad is Estabrook's strike zone? Seems like Hammy keeps thinking the call should have gone the other way.

I'm surprised Acta didn't bring Gomez back for a batter or two since he wasn't to 100 pitches against this lineup yet.

Honestly most of the balls have looked outside to me, It's not like CB Bucknor is behind the plate

Passed ball + throwing error + botched pick at 2B on SB = 3 runs.

Offense leaves no margin for error again.

Gotta get out of this inning at 4-4 and squeeze one out against Capps.

One thing that ticks me off about baseball is that Hag stands to win this if CP can get the save. WHY should he (not personally, but the pitcher who is supposed to hold then doesn't) get credit for a win? He wouldn't be in position to win if he hadn't blow the damn thing to begin with!

One of the many reasons why sabermetricians hate the wins stat.
