In Choo's defense, he got a meatball and just popped it up.

IMO Choo hasn't looked that great for the past two years. Last year was his drinky problem which messed up his head and the trip to the DL after getting hit and broken. This year he's had some medical issues, right? And just hasn't gotten into a groove. Was he a one- or two-year wonder? Or will he get back to the player that wowed us all early on? I'm saying if his entire season goes like is has been so far they let Boras try and find a team that thinks he's worth the price Boras is asking.

We've gotten pretty damn lucky during this 16 of 23 stretch. It's going to even out at some point. I'd rather it be now than September.

Dayan Viciedo might be the worst LF in baseball. And that's saying something with the guys we trot out there.

Was thinking the same thing.

Is it really that bad that we want Aaron Cunningham to pinch hit?

With the way the Bahstun pitchers have been performing this season I can gar-un-tee you that they would be very happy to have the likes of Masty and Hagadone back right now. Let 'em suffer.

The only options were another inning of Hagadone or Asencio. Acta was avoiding Smith and Pestano at almost all costs today. He said as much last night in his postgame.

Hard to fault not sending Hagadone out there against Konerko and Rios.

Quick Google:

"He has taken the mound in the ninth inning without a save on the line 15 times and allowed at least one run in seven of the outings."

Tomorrow.

Guy was on pace for 94 appearances as of Sunday.

Problem is that we don't have a competent third RHP out of the pen in middle relief. Asencio and Wheeler suck. I hope we're calling around to find one.

Ah well, never really should have been in this game. Masterson was all over the place and benefited from some timely DP balls. Skeletor botched that routine grounder from Damon to set up that inning.

Win the series tomorrow.
