Listening to it on the radio at work, the WTAM boys thought Sipp's first pitch to Flowers was gone, you could tell the way he called foul there was a massive relief, to say I had my heart in my mouth was an understatement.
Love the way we are playing at the moment.

Tony Sipp is terrifying.
I'll be 35 by the time this season ends. I started it at 25.

It'll be better if they win against the CHW tonight. Get your brooms out

The fact that Detroit lost to Seattle last night makes this gloomy day seem beautiful. The Wedgie lead Mariners grinded it out and scored 3 runs bottom of the 9th. Thank you Eric

Love that Tomlin pitched so well. I am very pleased with how things are going thus far. True, we are beating bad teams but then again, THAT'S WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO DO! Good teams beat bad teams. Period. Will we keep it up? We'll see, but it's hard not to be a fan of the Tribe right now.

Tomlin has stones that Ubaldo needs to borrow (despite his great outing -- one of his best as an Indian -- Sunday vs. Texas). The kid isn't afraid of anythig and I don't know what happened, but he's so all over the plate in every direction that his strikeout totals have become very impresive for a 88-91 guy.
Kid has heart. Bat and Ubaldo have the skills. Lowe has the knowledge and the sinker. Gomez...what ya got that's gonna last?

Wedge has been a more productive manager for the Tribe now that he
isn't managing the Tribe.

although the Tigers lost, I think that game was bad news for the Tribe. fister came back and threw 7 shutout. He is the key part of that team. While with the Tigers after the trade last year, he actually pitched better than Verlander in those two months, and followed it up with great post season performances. He is a front line starter and with him gone you see how they struggled...a .500 team which is close to what they were before they got him at the trade deadline last year.
