4-29-12 Tribe rubber game VS LA Angels of Disneytown

Unread postby Am I Here Again? » Sun Apr 29, 2012 1:34 pm

No thread started? Guess I'll try to get us a win.

RHP Lowe (3-1, 3.00 ERA) vs RHP Santana (0-4, 7.23 ERA)

Lowe has been looking ace-like (scary thought, huh?). Santana's pitching like garbage...although he did no-hit us last year. That was last year. Go Tribe!

LA ANGELS (7-14)

M. Trout CF
H. Kendrick 2B
A. Pujols 1B
K. Morales DH
T. Hunter RF
M. Trumbo 3B
V. Wells LF
M. Izturis SS
C. Iannetta C

YOUR CLE INDIANS (10-9)

M. Brantley CF
J. Kipnis 2B
A. Cabrera SS
T. Hafner DH
C. Santana C
J. Hannahan 3B
S. Duncan LF
C. Kotchman 1B
A. Cunningham RF

Top of the 3rd, scoreless game as I type.

I am stunnned thar this team is struggling to score runs as it was widely considered a strength going into the season

Unless Texas reliever Robbie Ross gets a win tonight or tomorrow, Derek Lowe is tied atop the AL in wins for April with 4.

Wins are a meaningless stat.

Obviously if consistently suck you aren't going to accrue wins, but wins alone are not the marquee of a good starter.

Either way you can't hate on what Lowe has brought the team thus far

You're kidding, right? Tribe interest has reached a fever pitch. There were three or four posts on yesterday's game alone.

You build off the Lowe excitement Pup. You don't snuff it out.

I was listening to the game while watching my youngest play soccer yesterday. A parent form Chagrin Falls actually rolled his eyes when I told him what I was listening to.

Made it nicer when he went back to Chagrin Falls with a 6-1 loss.
