About to be 2-6 at home, bad series to lose against some marginal pitching. We should lobby to spend the first month of the season on the road like a Northern college baseball team.

Sad state of affairs that Cunningham had to bat there.

Maybe this will put an end to the game threads with a European date format :)

Listened through four innings and had to leave for the dentist. Didn't get back until the game was over. I would make bet on it that my afternoon was less painful than listening to the Tribe game.

He never looks for a breaking pitch in any count - despite about 10 straight years of guys throwing them to him.

Which, is why he stinks.

I love the surprised reactions as well. The off balanced swing-from-the-heels on an 0-2 curveball never gets old. Ever.

You don't suppose he is thinking "wow, this guy just made a huge mistake!" do you? Every time?

I think the problem is they need to score more runs than their opponent.

I retire from Game threads. I just can't rekindle the magic from the Cavaliers threads.
