Lineups to follow later - can someone else do the honours?

No AC tonight.... the Tribe have placed Asdrubal on the bereavement list and called up Hagadone.

I'm gonna have to skip tonights game with work tomorrow and first pitch at 3.05am my time!

Anyone know anything about Droobs? It can't be a parent...right? He's way to young.

Saw on the Tribe's website that it's Droob's grandpa that died. He'll be gone the for a week.

Choo's right there and noodle arm Brantley makes the catch with a runner on 3B? No feel for the game. Not to say that Choo'd have thrown him out, but he'd have made it close.

Acta is what's wrong, ump was squeezing him and his stuff was up. Shoulda been yanked 6 hitters ago.

Hang this loss (if it is one) on Manny.

I was feeling so good about this game during the first couple innings and *kapow*, crap. Here I was celebrating the fact that the Red Sux lost 18-3 to TX...

Yeah, Millwood's strike zone seemed wider, but Masterson was all over the place. He didn't deserve a big zone.

Acta has to try and get as much length as possible out of Masterson. 12 games in 13 days and we've used the same few guys in the pen a lot.

I have bigger issue with Santana continuing to call for first pitch fastballs when SEA was sitting on the first pitch. Then they throw two straight sliders to Ryan down and away and never once come inside with the heat before walking him.

Ah well, everyone's entitled to a bad outing every now and then. Masterson struggles with LHB. That was highly evident tonight.

Some outstanding pieces of hitting in this inning.

No quit.

This team's got heart.

It is quite impressive. It felt like a blow out and they could have just started giving AB's away, or trying to get 9 runs with one swing. But they came out and had professional quality AB's.

Yep. Even though it was only the 5th inning, they could have rolled over. They probably would have had they not had an offensive explosion in KC.

Just a fantastic comeback. With the pitching in this one, this game has a long way to go yet, but at least we're fighting.

This win would feel great.

When did Jack Hannahan get the fielding skills of Lonnie Chisenhall? Christ. 4th error already.

Way to sack up, kid.

That slider to Jaso was disgustingly filthy.

Fastball that misses bats. Just needs better command and he'll be a solid LOOGY.

Almost went to bed when we were down 8-2. Then we got all offensive and, needless to say, I'm wide awake now!

I was wondering why Santana didn't go out to Masty when he was having trouble with his control. Is it because Masty doesn't want to be bothered by the catcher coming out? Or is it because Santana's a bit of a putz when it comes to catcher's social skills?

Wickman.......but with worse facial hair.

But in all seriousnous comparing Perez to Wickman in anything at this point is ludacris :lmfao: Perez would be lucky to be half the closer Wickman was.

Perez deserves a pass for tonight, guys. Seager had a great at bat and Perez doesn't want to walk him. He promptly gets a DP ball that takes a bad hop. He goes from the game being over to the tying run on 3B and the winning run at 1B on nothing more than bad luck.

He showed some stones tonight. Bullpen redeemed itself after that KC series. They were terrific tonight.

Big ups to Hagadone.

I'm sick of these (smoke) saves from Perez. Though that one was fluky with that bad hop to Donald.

Sure double-play ball that bad-hops into a sticky situation and Perez doesn't fold? Yup, big ones. ;-) ;) Glad we won - didn't want to have to crawl through my computer and start bitch-slapping some of these guys.

I'll get the game thread started before tonights game.... no worries!

Nice to see the bats continue to roll after that KC series..... If healthy and Choo/Haf/Santana are hitting, we've got a pretty good set of bats to run out there.
