I'd prefer to move him down asap.... like to Miami.

Ubaldo's balance is off. His foot at the end of the delivery is flying off to the left.

I like Marson catching Ubaldo. Jiminez needs the best defensive catcher he can get. 1/2 head shrink, 1/2 cannon arm.

Yeah. In his defense, a couple of these have been ground ball singles not hit at anybody, but those have been hit hard.

His breaking stuff is moving quite a bit, but hitters can lay off it because his fastball command sucks and he can't throw a breaking ball for a strike.

Yes- Same gun. 2-3 mph hot.

And that pitch to Getz HAS TO be bounced or thrown in the right hand batters box at 1-2 to that stiff. That was fucking terrible.

Perfect opportunity for Choo, the 5th batter of the half inning, to get the ball off the ground.

Guess we need 8 more Choo's.

Looks like KC agrees with him. I'm hoping this extends to the rest of the parks in the league this year.

Frenchy does have a cannon, though. And no need to make an out at 3rd with 2 down.

Ubaldo just has to suck less than Mendoza.

Mendoza like Ubaldo will ahve a long leash considering how the bullpen has been over-used in the first 2 games.

Did we make a move by the way to bring up another pitcher for today's game?

Important for Jimi to get a scoreless inning after the offense came back and wiped his face for him.

Hope he can have a couple of quick innings.

With the day off tomorrow, almost everybody should be available. I'd save Smith for a spot with Butler and runners on since he's pitched the first two. I wouldn't use Sipp ever again. Pestano I'd be careful with since he's worked the last two days. But, Raffy Perez should go more than one inning today. Try and squeeze the 5th or 6th out of Wheeler. Hopefully get 1.1 or 1.2 from Raffy. Then, if we're still ahead, CP in the 9th.

Really need Ubaldo to labor through a five-and-fly here.
