D'Backs vs. Tribe (st) - players are mike'd up

Unread postby bookelly » Wed Mar 07, 2012 4:05 pm

Anyone else watching this ST game? They got mics all over the place. I feel like a kid on Christmas morning.

This is awesome.

So cool.

Choo staying on the baseball and ripping line drives to left center makes me happy. Solid 2B at home, easy HR with the wind-aided hitting conditions in Arizona.

Comes back to the bench and Acta says "nice 2 iron".

I'm hoping for more Acta. He's pretty awesome.

Based on last inning, we should easily win 115 games.

Jason Kipnis singing Adele while at second base. If he's not everyone's favorite Indian by mid summer, I will be surprised.

Agreed. Willing to get dirty, max effort, and talented. Funny to follow on Twitter. He's definitely going to be loved.

Hannahan with a grand slam off a lefty. Not a cheap one either. Not off the best lefty, but, hey, good for him.

Anyone older than 15 has to understand this, no? Will people really believe Duncan's lamp got lit at almost 33 yrs old? WIll they forget the 90% of his swings that end with him on his knee?

I think they will. I truly believe some mope will tell me you're perfectly fine if he gets 300+ ABs in LF because he's hitting Week 1 fastballs a long way in the desert.

In fact, you know it's gonna happen and people who should really and truly know better will be blinded by the spring sun.

Bet heavy on it.

No, not everyone over 15 understands this. I would site the people who think Jack Hanahan is a starting major league 3rd baseman based on the fact he got his average up over .245 by feasting on minor leaguers the last month of a lost season.

Never mind Shelly Duncan blowing for years, hanging on to a major league job only because of pedigree and being a team guy. Or Hanahan looking like he should be hitting behind the National League pitcher for the bulk of his existence - just pay close attention to the first weeks of spring training and the last weeks of September, and pretend that is really major league baseball.

Don't forget, Pros has em' down for about 35 taters this year.
