Man, after Buff claims Byrd or Sabathia are our best starter in today's B-List, Carmona comes out and impresses again. Now, yes, Sabathia is the best guy....but Carmona is right up there.

I want him in the rotation the rest of the year. He is ready. Will be very interesting to see what we do when Westy comes off the DL, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it as a lot can happen between now and then.

Casey Blake grounded into a fielder's choice so he is ... safe? What happened there?

Tejada took his sweet time and underhanded it to Roberts. Barfield beat it out.

Great hustle by Barfield. Tejada fielded the ground ball, and made a very lazy throw to 2B where Barfield was hustling like hell and beat the throw.

And, wow, talk about stuffing it in Tejada's face there....Hafner goes yard with a granny.

Hell, we could actually use Davis today now that we DFA'ed him. Damn.

Going in to Anaheim, it most certainly does. He rocks the ball out there.

By the way, at 9-1, I want to see Eddie Moo out there, not Oldberto.

No one is going to mention this on here, but I bet Hammy and Hegan do. This game changed complexion completely when Peralta made that stab up the middle to end the jam Carmona was in back in the 5th (I think). That saved a run and maybe more.

well, easy with the swearing first of all...

second, he was just called up today so it's doubtful that he would travel to Baltimore and pitch in his first game. especially since it was a 12:30 start time.

Peralta pours a little more on. I love this momentum going into Anaheim. I'd kill for a 4-2 west coast swing and end this trip 6-4.

Ok, what is the fascination with Hernandez? BLowouts, 1-run games, tied....it doesn't matter, the guy pitches. Unreal. I have no idea what purpose pitching him today serves. Get Eddie "Last of the" Mujica* an appearance.

I really doubt that Mujica was there. Now, I'm sure that someone else could have pitched since there's no reason in wasting Hernandez's arm in a blowout

I don't understand not using Mujica either, assuming he was actually there.

In any event, nice win for the Tribe and a great bounce back after a disappointing start to the trip.

Still only one series loss on the books so far this season. Nice job recovering from the 0-2 hole in the Baltimore series to even the series and take the season series against the O's.

Looks to me like Carmona should be here to stay. I'd be more in favor of sending Sowers down right now, though he could bounce back.

Hernandez hasn't pitched in a couple days. Maybe they're just trying to keep him fresh?

Miller with 6 more solid innings today giving up 2 ER on 3 hits, 2 BB 7 K. 101 pitches. He dueled with our former buddy Billy Traber who shut out the Bisons over 5 innings. Right now, Miller will likely be in line for a no decision as there's two down in the 6th.
