Yeah at first glance I'm not likeing the trade either. They must really really like Reddick or believe they will hit on one of those A-ball kids.

In related news, there are strong indications that the Cubs will trade Garza, possibly as early as today. They've been heavily linked with the Tigers in talks.

I always hate hearing other teams in the AL Central getting stronger. Oh well.
Boston needed someone to replace Papelbomb. Hopefully this Bailey isn't a douch bag, too

I'd be surprised to see the Tigers win that sweepstakes. The Cubs are asking a small fortune for him, especially young pitching. I think they'll try to up the ante, but eventually sign him to a long-term deal and build the team around him. He's a keeper.
