The Marlins' heavy offseason spending continued today, as they agreed to sign lefty Mark Buehrle to a four-year, $58MM deal,

Good to get him out of the Central.
Don't go away mad, just go away.

14.5 per for Buehrle?

Runaway train.

Williams should have traded him and at least got something for him, thank God he didnt though. Way to botch a valuable piece of that "Rebuild" Kenny. If you have valuable pieces you cant just let them walk. You have to make a decision to either do what it takes to resign him or you trade him. You know if the player gets to free agency 9 times out of 10 those fuzzy feelings for an organization vanish due to $$$$$$$$$$$$.

I echo the above: Thank goodness he is out of the central

Having that talent leave the central with nothing coming in return makes for a nice day.
