Question:

Are we using ONLY players who are carded to those teams? Or are we using ANY player that played for those teams?

Example: Roberto Alomar - He has cards for Toronto and Baltimore so I'm assuming he's available for both teams. Will he also be available to Cleveland because he played for them in 1999, even though he doesn't have a Cleveland card?

I'm asking now because I know they will ask on the boards.

Also, interesting observation: Some players like Jeter and A-Rod have cards from the early 2000s inculded. Wasn't expecting that.

No on the Roberto Alomar example, player has to have a card for the team you are designated.

Any players that show up when you pick that team for the dropdown in the player browser. So in your example, the Jays and O's owner could draft Robby, still making the ranked draft list crucial. Clearly, you'll want to top load it with guys that have cards for more than one team.

We are full. We picked up 3 guys from the strat boards.

What I'll do is get a randomizer run by someone at TSN and assign the teams. I'll post that here and in the thread I made at TSN.

Then, once teams are assigned I'll get another randomizer run to assign divisions.

Sound OK Rich?

One thing I forgot, all those trades the Indians and the Giants, my SF list is LITTERED w former Tribesmen.

Burks, B.Butler, Glenallen, Cory Snyder, Chris James, K.Mitchell, Matt Williams, Kent, Bud Black, Tavarez, Mike Jackson.

SF ream sucks though. No SP over 4.9mm. After Bonds and Matt Williams, no one on O over 6mm.

AND ... Im in the throes of, by far, the worst Strat slump of my life. I couldn't win more than 70 games right now even if I was playing 10-12 teams at one time like MoScratch.

Need to get lucky on the cards.

Several Indians on the (crappy) Dodgers as well -- Paul Shuey, Cory Snyder, Orel Hershiser (though he was a Dodger first), Tom Candiotti, Scott Radinsky, Eddie Murray (pre-Tribe again), and the glorious Brett Butler. And Wayne Kirby!

No, keeping the park makes perfect sense. It just affects draft strategy a little bit WRT matching park strengths to team strengths and so wanted to be sure.
