Then it'll be consecutive times we have been no hit while I've been sitting in the bleachers.

If it happens again, I'm never sitting in the bleachers again.

But you can catch Tofu Lou's HR ball.

Santana's seriously not tall enough for first base.

Santana can die in a rat hole as far as I'm concerned

should have traded him and kept Mcbride

Love Fukudome's defense.

Much better defender than Choo. Too bad you can't combine Fukudome's route running with Choo's arm.

I love to see Cabrera get fired up and hold Carlos accountable. Could we see an actual leader for this tam emerging?

At the risk of painting a big target on my back..... to defend Santana, we do have to remember that prior to this year he's never really played any 1B.

And, as much as we all like to think anyone can play the position, it's a much tougher position than we like to make out.

He hasn't caught in years, he'll never catch again.

He's walked 168 times in 558 career minor league games. Not even close to great plate discipline. Power? Career .467 slugging, never hit more than 21 HRs in a season. Hardly impressive power.

He's a 6th year pro out of college who's still in Double-A. There's a reason for that. He's not any good. He has a career .645 OPS in Triple-A. He's not a good player. He'll never amount to anything in the majors.

McBride actually caught some this year.... he's a pretty poor defender though.

He's 26, in his 3rd year in AA..... basically, at best, he's a better version of Chris Gimenez.

Rafael Palmeiro and Ted Williams for the trivia answer??

I know Williams did it in Cleveland but I'm only certain that Palmeiro did it against Cleveland (maybe not IN Cleveland)

Kipnis, nice play! Had that been LaPorta, he would be holding on to the ball to think about what to do then throw the ball 30 feet off the mark allowing multiple runs to score.

This unexpected offense means nothing if Fausto can't hold them where they are...... maybe they've found some holes so far, but Fausto's been far from sharp.
