Good call, bad pitch. if it had worked, you'd all be fawning over it. fast runner, good bunter up. just bad luck.

Actually seeing Brantley swing I don't mind the call at all. Just shitty luck.

Brantley is really laboring with that wrist.

Schlereth hangs that even a bit and we're up 1-0.

Yes, thank you. I remember it well. I will still gag if I see C Perez in the 9th inning.

Yea but Brantley isn't a very good bunter.....IMO it was a horrible move. Hindsight is 20/20 though.

I just would have liked to have given him the chance at a sac fly with one out. Oh well, when it rains it pours.

Hannahan should be in at first base right now. He makes that play. And his bat is as good as LaPorta's right now.

Did LaPorta dive past that ball or was it just me looking for yet one more reason (like we need more) to dislike him.

If it would have worked...sure, call of the year, but it didn't. I have to say boooooo on the call. We had one out and a sac fly or several other contact plays would have gotten Donald home. Branetly is NOT a great bunter and we had one out. I'd rather see us try that with two outs and hope Brantley beats throw to first. Maybe the odds are higher with one out, but that play looked like the epitome of the Indians' play the last week and a half. GOD BLESS we could be about to get a win right now.

No need to dive for it if he trusts his footwork. But he doesn't because he sucks, almost at everything.

Pestano is battling here. Good effort.

As for the squeeze, I stand by my comments. Brantley cannot hit right now with that wrist. Not sure he should even be playing to be honest. His swings tonight have been awful. If it's Kipnis I would agree with the distaste but I think Manny is seeing what I'm seeing with grimaces on ever swing or foul.

Didn't he hit a triple and home run on Sunday, a hone run in his last at bat, or are you saying he re-injured it today?

Yeah they even showed it again on his first AB and you could see him grimace multiple times. Underwood and Manning even spoke to it, it was blatant.

Heard Hammy say before the game that certain swings will aggravate the hell out of it.

If only Acta would have remembered to tell the Tigers no breaking balls in the dirt, we are going to squeeze. Stupid manager.
