(I'm not saying the above as somebody who thinks hitting a baseball is easy. I'm saying it as somebody who is expecting a person who's job it is to hit a curveball to be able to do it.)

Tony Sipp believes in his stuff. So few pitchers trust their stuff. Sipp rode that 91 mph fastball above belt and got Boesch by sheer audacity.

Took Sipp a total of five pitches to retire all three batters in the 7th. Took him 5 pitches to get the first batter out in the 8th. Thank goodness Manny took him out...his production sure was slipping.

Jason Donald is a far superior hitter than LaPorta against LHs. The approach and just the way he takes pitches is like night and day.

This off-season LaPorta should take 75% of his swings against LHers. He's putrid.
