Jesus Duncan and Kearns? Sigh....Does Pronk really need a day off after he hit so well yesterday?

We need to bring back the musical themed game thread.

Inform yourself before posting. Please.

Hafner: played every game since the break; .660 OPS v. LHP; playing with a nagging foot injury (as reported by Bastian)

Guy needs a day off. Shit happens.

Gotta have him healthy. Can't run him ragged.

MLBastian Jordan Bastian
Just a routine day off for Hafner. "We need to keep him fresh for the long run," said Acta.

Christ.

Ludwick with a RBI single for PIT. He's now a solid 2-for-12.

Hey you know it is possible to report information without being a dick. Crazy I know.

Forgive me for not checking Twitter every day. I get my information from MLB.com and saw no mention ANYWHERE of Hafner nursing a foot. Thats the first I have heard of that.

Yes because well all know hitting 4 times a game, and not playing the field is so strenuous.

Hmmm it doesnt say anywhere in that article that Pronk is nursing an injury. Guess Im just lazy as I dont feel the need to constantly monitor twitter.

When you have a recurring shoulder issue, yes, you need days off.

Point taken. I just didnt appreciate your condescending attitude. If you would actually research my posts, you will find I almost always back up my claims with facts and statistics. Like I said, I dont follow twitter. And I would be under the impression that if Pronk was nursing an injury that information would be made public elsewhere as well. And its not.....soooooo, again no need to be a dick.

I am taking away his Ohio roots until he shaves that thing. I've seen 7th graders with better facial hair. Somewhere Tom Selleck is crying.

The timeout that the ump gave him set up that HR. The 3-2 pitch Holland threw when time was called was at the knees on the black away. Santana is lucky to foul that off.

I know I mentioned it a couple of times but last night, but Carlos needs to bat from the right side more. Seriously, has there ever been a switch hitter who batted right handed against righties? His swing is so much better from that side.

hes hitting .295 from the right side of the plate this year, or something similar without looking at the splits. But its right in that ballpark. It seems he swings as hard as possible from the left side, but just make solid contact when batting right.

I was joking.....

My shoulders hurt from lifting heavy things up and down stairs at work, but, alas.... I can't miss days because of it.

It's a matter of pitch recognition I think. He sees the ball better from lefties than he does from righties. Not to mention, breaking balls come in to him rather than going away from him. Makes a huge difference with his swing plane.

Regardless it was a thing of beauty to see him hit that homer OPPO. Hopefully these past few games are a sign hes turning around. He's way to talented of a hitter to be sitting at .230.
