Who made fun of Asian stuff?
I said "Asians in the Outfield" (bad pun on the Disney movie) 'cause Choo and Fuka...
/no offense was met. Two guys in my band are asian. They thought it was mildly funny.

///And Colby Rasmus is gonna make Milton Bradley look like Lou Gehrig. Guy is still 15 years old apparently. You think a team with Pronk and OCab would tolerate a little bitch? No way. Good move in staying away.
Nonsense.
A little petulance at 24 is quite aways from Milton Bradley. And OCab would tolerate it, cause guys who stink are paid no nevermind.
The Tribe needs TALENT on offense. A guy with 5 tool potential, who is paying his dues at 22 and 23 IN THE SHOW (unlike some guys that some on these boards go ape-shit for cause they had a good minor league year at 26) and who is small market affordable for awhile.....that's a valuable guy.
And the left-handed/right-handed bullshit. Not in a position to be picky. Again, they need guys that can PLAY. When you're carrying 3 or 4 outs in the line-up each and every night, you send anyone up there that can hit, no matter the side.
Lastly, I'm not in the know. Maybe they inquired and the price was too high, but I'd like to know which of the many "prospects" you guys think will end up with a better career than Colby Rasmus? Are there any outfield prospects that are even close?
Look, is you wanna stand pat and not give up your prospects for veteran garbage, fine. Rasmus ain't in that category. But if you wanna step up and make something happen (like you keep yelling in the media) than this woulda been a nice shot. Hats of to Toronto. By the way, this is to Pup's point, I believe. It's not that the got Fuko. It's that they've been "shouting from the mountain tops"....and got Fuko.
I understand those of you who think they improved the team. But I also understand those who say replacing a guy who might really, really blow with a guy that blows is no great shakes.
