Anyone else secretly looking forward to watching the awkward lanky Masterson swing the bat?!

We wasted an opportunity in the first inning but Masterson himself looked sharp.

Buck's flight from Columbus was delayed, so he's not actually at the park yet.

This assclown on Fox is totally unbearable.

Like it's a giant surprise that Sandoval went 1st to 3rd on a 2 out single hit moderately hard to RF. Never happened before. I can't believe fat ass Sandoval is tearing down walls.

You MUST hit something hard with a 2-0 count there. Awful, awful effort.

For the love of God, look at that line-up.

Merry Christmas Matt Cain.

The Tribe could hit their pitcher 6th in every one of these games and nobody would know the difference.

Poor execution right there.

With Brantley's speed I'd always have the contact play on personally..... I guess Manny thinks differently.

Time to cut ties with Grady

below the Mendoza line and still without a steal.

He's a defensive replacement. I wouldn't even have him pinch hit.

If you throw Carlos Santana a changeup in the strike zone, he'll swing through it 90% of the time.

If you throw Grady Sizemore and Austin Kearns anything anywhere in the general proximity of home plate, they'll make an out 99% of the time.

Maybe

But, when you're struggling to score you've got to take that chance and put the pressure on the defense.

Huff had to stretch for it and was a bit off balance, so who knows.

Maybe decision time coming up for Manny... Masterson probably has 1 more inning left in him but, in the unlikely event that one of Cabrera, Hannahan and/or Kearns reach base do you make a move in the 7th?

I'd have to say yes.

In all likelihood though, it's probably going to be a moot point.

"Oh man! I have to move 6 inches to my left to catch this throw and get the out. I better take my foot off so I can allow Tejada to reach base. Why would I actually want to do my job and get an out?"

That was probably dumber than anything LaPorta's done this year.

You realise Hannahan isn't a 1Bman, right?

How many times this year do you think he's been practicing the stretch on the 1B bag?

I don't care. He's a major league player.

I wasn't a first baseman either, but I knew in little league the few times I played first if there's a throw 6 inches to my left, reach for it, don't come off the bag.

It's an idiotic play. I don't care that he's not a first baseman naturally. He's a major league player. 10 year olds are smarter than that.

And yes, I am sour. I can handle losing, I can't handle losing solely because of pure stupidity.
