God Kearns is such a bum. Without Choo we have the worst OF in baseball. Seriously, only Brantley is even average right now. Grady seriously sucks these days, and the Kearns/Buck combo is worse than Michaels/Delucci ever was. If he broke it, were screwed.

I'd go with Tomlin or Carrasco. Tomlin might give up a HR or two (or three), but he won't walk anybody and it's almost a certainty he'll give you a chance to win. And Carlos Carrasco has the stuff to dominate and not only give you a chance but actually win you the game. Masterson's control isn't good enough and he can't get lefties out. I can't trust him in a big game yet.

If we had to win a game 7, wouldn't Little CC and Tomlin both be nervous which would equal giving up a lot of runs and throwing a lot of pitches. :hide:

The thing is coming into tonight's game lefties were hitting like .311 of him. So not much difference there. Regardless, little CC would be my second choice. Tomlin a distant 3rd( although I really like him). Its gonna be fun next year when we can throw Alex White and Pomeranz into the discussion.

That's kind of a flukey thing though from early in the year.

Last year lefties hit .193 off of Carrasco. He can get both lefties and righties out consistently. It's not a trend, it's just a blip on the radar from the early season.

With Masterson it's been the constant theme of his entire career.
