These two games have really pissed me off.

This blame of this one goes on Acta's shoulders. What a horribly managed game. Oh yea and fuck Kearns.

Again, something about this series making me more pissed than a loss normally would.

If anyone should have pinch hit, it should have been Orly. At least he would have put the ball in play.

You don't save your pinch hitter for the 5th batter of the inning in a 1-run game.

You've no idea it's going to even get that far.

I think this game officially has made me more angry than anyone yet this season. We gifted the Luckies two games.

Kearns needs to be cut right after this game. I mean I could have made it look like I was making more of an effort at the plate. If you're gonna swing, dammit make up your mind and swing. Especially if its the last pitch on a 2 strike count, PROTECT jeez. I thought that was stuff these guys should know by now. This may make me change my least favorite player by my forum name.

Yeah, can't defend Kearns anymore. Get off my team.

What a shift at the ballpark tonight. Place was electric with the lightning, wind, and the rally. Then it felt like a funeral when Smith went yard. Then another rally, rain falling. Then Austin Kearns comes up and a collective sigh came from the crowd.

This one hurts. The kind that can throw them in to a tailspin if they aren't mentally tough. Tomorrow becomes really big. Have to get a win before heading out West for interleague.

If I was Manny and had to pick a player to pinch hit for Everett (who pinch ran for Hafner!) and I saw that it was only Kearns. I do have 4 players sitting on the bench who are starting pitchers who can hit. Anyone could had been better than Kearns.

Did Acta get a wedgie?

Fucked from the get with the starting lineup.

I really wish we had Duncan instead of Kearns. Kearns is much worse than Dellucci or Michaels ever were. Trot Nixon was better.

I cannot believe we left the game in his hands. I wish we'd cut him and call up Carrera. Buck and Kearns...just not enough room for both, considering Everett is on the bench, too, and I think much more highly of Buck than I do Kearns. Bum. Had a decent career in Cincy. Has nothing left in Cleveland.

Well, Grady had already pinch hit for Marson, leaving only Kearns and O. Cab available. Personally, I would have gone with O. Cab, but didn't think his chances of a hit were good. So, Acta was left with bad choices. Tracy knew it too...you could easily tell that by the way they pitched to A. Cab. with Phelps on third.

I said a couple of weeks ago that I really did not think that Kearns was a guy who could play sporadically and be effective. For that purpose, I prefer Duncan. Duncan is no Babe Ruth, but does have some ability off the bench. Kearns has none. Wouldn't mind at all seeing the switch made today.

For the love of all that is holy, get Kearns out of here now. Did anyone REALLY think when he came to the plate last night that the result would be any different. Freaking June 22nd and the guy is hitting .195 with no homers and 2 RBI and a .571 OPS. 29 Ks in 82 at bats (1 K every 2.8 AB). Enough already. ANYTHING in Columbus is better. Cripes.

This. Everyone is moaning about Kearns, but this was the bad decision, for as bad as Cabrera has been he has had a few very clutch hits this year and will normally make contact. A single was all they needed, and he was the best choice to hit there by a large, large, margin. I do not fault Manny for pinch running for Hafner or pinch hitting Sizemore leading off the inning. You have to get Grady an at bat against Street after he nearly took him deep the night before. And Everett was the 5th batter, no guarantee you get to that point if you don't use Grady right away. You are right though, not using Cabrera instead of Kearns was the horrid decision.
