Not sure I agree with resting our best defensive infielder on a day when we have arguably the one guy who needs quality infield defense the most for his success. And then we fill in with a player who has been "statistically rated" as the worst defensive 2nd baseman in baseball, at 3rd base,a position he has never played before.

I wouldnt be surprised to see a few bunts tonight.

not that it is really that big a deal, that was just my initial reaction when I saw the headline on cleveland.com

Is it wrong of me to now look at who's pitching and automatically think "loss" when I see Fausto is going?

One pitch, one swing>base hit for the lead-off batter. Looks like the Rox plan is "swing early and often". *sigh*

Finally, totally OT but you might find this funny. Every try to explain the DH to someone who isn't interested in baseball? My SIL knows B-ball and hockey really good but at dinner last night my hubby (her brother), her hubby and I tried making her understand what it's about. You should have been there... :lmfao:

I liked that angle for that pitch. Made it really clear that it was a hanging slider.
