The LaPorta play was an absolute classic.

You've got "The Veteran" who can't hit the GD ball to the right side in a situation that begs for it - and you've got dopey LaPorta breaking a little league rule going to third on a ball to the left side.

Than he puts his foot on backwards.

Followed by the Pirate pitcher placing a two strike pich in the only place Hanahan can hit. If you don't throw it on the inside part of the plate, from knee high to 6 inches above that you're golden.

Christ, someone do something right out there.

Damn tough break for Brantley there. Hit the ball hard and a guy made a nice play. Luckily we got that gift from the pitcher.

Can someone tell why Grady didn't try a bunt at least once tonight?!

Everytime up they put a huge shift on after strike one..... you bunt it hard enough and you might have a double.... he could walk to first at least if he kept it fair.
