Scathing article on the Marlins ownership

Wow. He really takes the bat to their ownership, and deservedly so. Calling them pond scum would insult true pond scum.

Awesome.

You could feel the bile, disgust and hatred in every paragraph.

The man speaks the truth. Makes me sick the Marlins have two Titles on my lifetime, and our Tribe have none in most current fans entire lives. Bullshit.

Now it's being reported that they are considering 80 year old Jack McKeon to be their interim manager.

Was Connie Mack unavailable?

Strike that, they hired him, probably due to the fact that he should be able to relate so well with Hanley Ramirez

Found this article about the tough times the Fish are going through right now. Although the bulk of the ChiTrib's story is about McKeon, this caught my eye: The change comes at a time when everything seems to be going wrong for the Marlins, who lost again Sunday to extend their season-long skid to 10 games. The Marlins have lost 20 of their last 22 to fall from second to last place in the National League East. HehHeh, couldn't happen to a better team. I'm STILL pissed about 1997.....Image

I fully support their 2002 championship, however. I'd root for Art Modell to win a lawsuit against the Yankees.
