Who the hell is CF Bradley?

I like how Acta got OC in there against Verlander. Way to put him in position to almost look respectable.

I'd be interested in the results of a Carlos Santana IQ test.

Oops.... that might be about the 15th time I've called Brantley, Bradley.... normally it doesn't get beyond the inside of my own head.

Good approach from Choo with no reward. He'll roll a GB to 2B next AB.

It's amazing how much sharp movement Verlander's breaking stuff has when it's almost at the front edge of the plate. The late break is special to watch.

The 1-2 changeup he threw to Buck was middle of the plate halfway to the dish and then wound up a foot and a half off the plate.

That change-up is amazing. It seems break in different directions too...with control. Wow. Carassco's stuff could be like this. Maybe Pomeranz. But Verlander is elite.

You know what- Im just gonna say it. Fuck these guys. Im tired of this apathetic bullshit for the past month. This reminds me of the Wedge teams where nobody gives a shit, and just goes through the motions. Its sickening.

Oh and we already lost. We dont score 3 runs of Verlander. Lol year right. This pathetic team couldn't even score 3 runs of Scott elarton.

-Santana must be a cocky asshole. Hes lazy and just doesnt seem to take instruction.
- Grady is now a bum. Hes a friggin windmill, and possibly the most unclutch player in history.

Im ranting but this is pathetic. Grady is a worthless Vet. He has no leadership abilities at all, nor does Pronk. :bag:

Would it KILL us to actually score some runs outside of when we told the Yankees uncle last Friday.

This is some pathetic shit. Indeed, feels like Wedge is still in the dugout and Shapiro is upstairs in the tv booth acting like it's all part of a "plan".

I'm still waiting for the game where we infield hit the shit out of the other team like Anaheim did to us. That whole "baseball evens out" concept. I'd like for it to be in one of the next two games.

Even if Verlander had lesser stuff, he'd probably still throw a no hitter against these guys. A tee could throw a no hitter against the Indians at this point.

This team has just scored 2 runs in their last 34 innings. If Verlander does throw a no-hitter, there should be an asterick next to it.

Is it any wonder that Detroit is about to surpass us?

The worst duo in all of baseball, for us that watch Extra Innings, are these two boneheads from Detroit. Even the color guy, however, pointed out an obvious, simple but painfully truthful fact and that is Sizemore is getting absolutely schooled on Verlander's fastballs. Sizemore saw two curve balls at most, one of which had him looking because Verlander I guess still has enough for Sizemore not to throw it to him in the same spot every pitch (though he probably could). Sizemore swung and missed on 4-5 of the strikes and that is sure-fire proof that he is losing his approach and his bat speed. I recall Sizemore turning on a Fernando Rodney 99 mph fastball (about 2008) and putting it about 420 feet to right field. Verlander's throwing 95-97 tops and Sizemore is super tardy. These are balls that are not in his wheelhouse, but Sizemore was once a great fastball hitter. It was always that breaking ball a foot from the dirt that had his swinging and missing. I don't know if the injury killed him or what, but he's certainly lost at the plate. He was back for that one week 2006 style...oh well.

I had a wreck three years ago and saw a physical therapist. She was a cleat chaser and is now married to a member of the Giants who went to LSU (without getting too personal). She is cousins with one of the former "three stooges" (hint: not Trot Nixon) and he set her up on a date with Sizemore. She liked him strictly for the fact that he was a baseball player. All she wanted to do was not work again and marry a rich, good-looking baseball player. She told me a lot about the relationship. She even flew out to Arizona to spend a week with him. When she got back, she told me he was the most boring person she had ever spent time with and that she wasn't sure it would work (remember, cleat chasers don't care about that stuff as long as you're on tv and make money). She said and I truly quote, "He wouldn't take charge. He's kind of a pussy." I winced when I heard her call the cf and one of the best players of my favorite team a word that I didn't think she was capable of using. It stung...then it set in a day or two later. She was right.

I hate to bash Grady, but looks like that's pretty much what he's become at the plate.

Masterson about to fall to 0-5 in his last 9 starts despite a 3.71ERA over that stretch.

Think we might see Hafner back tomorrow?! He's 1-for-1 with a single and a BB in his first rehab game.

Yeah, I really hate Grady Sizemore right now. He cannot hit anything. He can't hit good fastballs, he can't hit changeups, and he has NO CHANCE against breaking balls.

He's completley useless. He's been useless for the past 4 years. It's pathetic. And he never does anything to change his game to get better. It's like he doesn't even care.

NANA!!!!!! Thank God Orlando was playing tonight. Phelps likely would have gotten caught up in the rookie mental game of "he's dominating, so he'll dominate me."

Now, let's get a win outta this! We're in his head! Verlander has a one-hitter going!

Guessing we're still the last team to be no hit by a guy with one arm.

Fox Sports Detroit douche duo were trying their best to not jinx.

"Verlander has only allowed one base runner through 6 inninngs."

"10 strikeouts and only one walk given up."

Jim Joyce stepped into Brantley's body and got that hit. I firmly am convinced.

You know what though? It must be nice getting to see 2 different pitchers throw/come close to throwing a no-no (JV and Galaraga). I cannot think of a too recent game where an Indian did this. And these Tigers pitchers always do it at home in Comerica. Must be nice.

Dude is in a slump like the whole team. Is it really necessary to go for the nuts?

Pathetic. We should have just pitched Carmona today so Verlander could beat us and we would at least have a chance tomorrow.
