Talbot looks sharp so far. Colon sharper, if not fatter. Man that cat ate some churros or what?

Crap weather out here in the east. Hope we can score a few runs soon in case they end up calling the game. So far Talbot is holding up his part of the deal.

When I checked the stats for today's starting pitchers after last night's game I told my hubby that Big Bart is making CC looking svelte. They show him as 5' 11" and 245 pounds. Ri-iiiight.

How the hell is NYY 2 games out of first with THIS lineup? In 3 years, the same lineup will be lucky to breathe without a respirator, but this is by far and away the most talented and veteran lineup in the majors, yet they get skull drug by Boston.

That homer by A Rod...no one from the Indians could come CLOSE to yarding that. Pronk in his prime, maybe...but as far as active squad...hell no. La Porta needs to get some lessons from A Rod. A Rod is a total dickbag, but he knocks out the park what LaPorta will never find in that zone unless he seriously studies hitting over the next off season as opposed to going back to Gainesville and getting sloshed at campus pubs.

Surely NYY are gonna throw at us next inning. I mean, protect your damn team right? Boston, Chicago, and Detroit would DEFINITELY follow up and throw at us. That's two in a row for us and they haven't relatilated. If they do not retaliate, they're a pussified team. They have a slim lead, but we haven't proven that we are going to do do anything note-worthy today.

I almost hope they do throw at us. We need some fire under our asses. Maybe a nice bew ha ha will warp us back to two weekends ago vs. Cincy.

And just when I thought Colon had disappeared from baseball, here he is throwing incredible moving stuff. And typical Colon, he throws harder and meaner as the game moves along. He's in a groobve right now. We haven't had a 3-1 count him in several innings I don't believe. Yankees got a huge steal by finding him and resurging him.

*Colon hurt as I type. Great pitcher...not nearly as athletic. Just hurts when you have to carry 265 pounds around.
