Nick Johnson in Cleveland?!

Unread postby dazindiansfanuk » Mon Jun 06, 2011 4:10 pm

He's only played a handful of rehab games in AA and I don't know where he fits into the Indians plans, but.... this is on Twitter.

DH/1B Nick Johnson in the house. He is here at Progressive Field with a locker. He's No. 25.

Probably hurt himself during the players only meeting when asked to raise his hand if he was tired of losing.

Punctured eardrum on the flight over. Out 1.5 years.

Dad thought of his name while being injured shaving.

Nick Johnso sucks! Hopefully he doesn't read this. Will hurt his feelings and he'll be out for the season.

So who was demoted or placed on the DL?

No move made..... yet anyway.

I'd be shocked if he was called up this early.... more than likely just hanging out with the ball club for a while.

Or at least I would think so.

He will fit in perfect with Sizemore and Hafner.

No matter what, he cant get injured as much as Mr. Glass himself Michael Aubrey.

If Nick were to have a walk-off HR or base hit. I would have a riot team surround him before his team mates beat on him. As they typically do to anyone hitting a walk-off. Nick wouldn't make it a foot past homeplate.

So long Wes Hodges

Indians released 3B Wes Hodges.
Hodges, 26, batted .216/.276/.325 over 125 plate appearances this season at Triple-A Columbus. He was given the boot to clear a roster spot for Nick Johnson

The first thing that comes to mind is when we resigned Juan Gonzalez, and he injured himself going to first base on his first at bat.
