Perfect time to do it. Revenues above expectations, no money on the books going forward after Hafner expires, Choo playing like crap and coming off a DUI.

If Boras resists, we just plant a couple pounds of weed in his trunk and call in an anonymous tip. Drive his price down another mill a year.

First thought came across my mind was throwing Choo in jail. lol. Yeah, he's been loosing millions and millions of dollars this year.

We have Choo locked up for almost his entire proverbial prime (28-32). I don't really understand why we would want to potentially overpay when his career is on a downswing.

I mean, his 30's could be Raul Ibanez (really good) or Carlos Beltran (really bad).

I still think Choo is yet to reach his peak. Hes having a terrible first two months, sure. But I dont think its time to panic and say hes in decline.
