Think the guys in the 3rd base dugout/on the field are watching the Rangers go up the middle/oppo on everything? No? Me neither.

On a fucking 0-2 pitch. What the hell?

Bounce a slider. They're not taking off from 1st 0-2.

I'm gonna be unique and leave after this half inning. Although looking at the gates that's not so unique right now. Wonder if I can get a bowl of Pepper Pot Beef soup to go....

Unique in that you were actually there in body and mind from first pitch until now?

27,458 at the game tonight to watch this shit. I guess the only reason they came or are staying around is because they want to see the fireworks.

Sipp came into the game with a 1.54 ERA having not allowed a run in 21 out of 23 appearances. He gives up a home run to one of the best hitters in the game on a pitch that wasn't even in the strike zone and now he's a fuckin' turd?

Ward, I think you were a little hard on the Beaver last night.

But he should not have given Hamilton a pitch he can pull with two on and a 1-run lead. It was a turd of a pitch. Still, I'm cutting him some slack based on his performance to date.

Last year Sipp was light's out with a 1.40 ERA until the Yankees went ballistic on him in a game in late May. Then he got lit up for the next two weeks until he pulled himself together. Hopefully he'll put this game behind him and get back on track in his next outing.

Santana was sitting outside and wanted the ball low...clearly the pitch was not meant to be a strike. Sipp just missed his location by a great deal.

I hope so 'cause I heard Chewbacca's sinker actually drops on hitters.

No-one ever said being a turd was a permanent thing.... you can be a turd for one inning, one batter, one pitch.

And on an 0-2 pitch, when you miss your target by 3 feet, yes you are a fuckin' turd.

And, fwiw, Sipp has been hit hard his last two outings (even though he only gave up 1 run last time out) and, if last season is anything to go by, Sipp might have a habit of going through hittable stretches.

So, it's something to keep an eye on.
