Bad call at the plate. Ball beat him but tag was late and high.

No way they should have sent him. Chop had that ball to the cut before he rounded third. Nice to see Choo's throw right in front of us

He was in easily.

I don't understand how Endy Chavez is any good this year. Guy's just not very good.

Shitty catching. Apparently his and Buster Posey's pain has influenced Carlos. Never blocked any part of plate and was lazy with the tag.

Disappointed in crowd size tonight. Beautiful night down here, couple of the better teams in the game right now, fireworks, etc. Less than 25k for sure by my estimation.

But Beef Pepper Pot Soup on the menu!! Shit was good.

No kidding. I bet that was running through his head the whole time. Hence the outcome. Cant blame him really.....that was really one of the first times theres been a legit shot of a collision this season. With his injury and Posey's so recent, I bet that exactly what happened. Oh well. It was a great call. :thumb up:

While on that topic, Brian Sabean's an absolute douche.

These comments are ridiculous:

"Why not be hard-nosed?" Sabean told the radio station. "If I never hear from Cousins again or he never plays another game in the big leagues, I think we'll all be happy."

Sabean didn't back down later in the interview; rather, he left little doubt that the Giants are planning on exacting some on-field revenge against Cousins.

"He chose to be a hero, in my mind, and if that's his flash of fame, that's as good as it's going to get, pal. We'll have a long memory," Sabean told KNBR. "Believe me, we've talked to (former catcher Mike) Matheny about how this game works. You can't be that out-and-out overly aggressive. I'll put it as politically as I can state it: There's no love lost and there shouldn't be."

I'd love to see what Sabean had to say about collisions before the Posey incident.

About as close as possible. Texas isnt really hitting the ball hard. Just a bunch of bloops and pot shots.

Edit- This post is in reference to the almost DP last inning. But after reading your post again I realized you were talking about the Santana play. Also Ogando is dominating us right now. Gonna have to score to beat Texas.

Speaking of Peralta.....what the hell? Hes actually good this year. After all those years of not giving a shit here, someone must have lit a fire under his ass or something. Or he just decided he wanted to get paid again. I loved him when he first came up, but grew to loathe him.

Yes, but O-Cab has to leave his feet way too often to get to balls. Most 2b make that play without a dive.

There has to be some adjustment to be made with Choo. He is rolling over so much this year. I wonder if his hands are lower or something.

If Choo got a nickle for every ball he beat into the ground this year, he wouldn't need to worry about a new contract.

Santana can't even throw guys out on pitchouts.

He's gotta go over to 1B. If only LaPorta's hip could handle LF against LHP.

I couldn't agree with you more. Not sure what to do with LaPorta when Santana takes his spot.. Take our chances in LF is the only option. And I never thought I would ever say this... Gotta bring in Marson ::doh::
