He should be the runaway winner for AL 3B GG if the season ended today, but some big name like Beltre would get it. Ugh.

I'd be less concerned about him winning a Gold Glove and more concerned about the fact you gotta run him out there every night.
Look, good guy, great glove - but you're kidding yourself if you don't think there are many guys every year that could play an excellent third base, but can't hit enough, and end up being cut.
From his approach, (and guys are worried that Santana pulls the ball too much) that lllooooonnnnngggg swing.....he's everything as advertised offensively coming in - which was awful.
The randomness of some big hits he's had in the first few months will even out - unless you're also fool enough to believe a lousy, .230 hitter has some sort of "clutch" gene, and he'll be a cipher on offense - as bad a regular as there will be in the league at that position.
Defense is enough if you aspire to be at the low end of mediocrity.
Look, it is what it is, I'm not saying bring up this guy or that one. But understand at the end of the day, a guy like him will be carried by the team if they are fortunate enough to be winning - he ain't helping produce those wins.

Vote A-cab into the starting SS for the AL. Jeter is somehow the leader right now.
