It is a record. The record was for most triples in a inning. The old record was 2.

I hate seeing the defense sully a good start by Tomlin- not that it matters a ton, it just makes his line look worse than it should. 2 of those triples were preventable, one of them very easily. Brantley is a big drop off from Sizemore defensively in CF.

We're cool, thanks. We live in Dudley (I call it "Dully" since nothing is happening here) and there have been confirmed tornadoes in Southbridge, Charlton and Oxford - ALL towns that are contiguous to ours! So far so good - not even a drop of rain!

I'm just glad the Tribe saved some runs to score once I was listening. Now they can STOP since I want them to still have a boatload of them left in the bats for the rest of the season.

Thunderstorm arriving in Medford now. It'd be nice if the power stayed on so I can keep watching this game.

Now I may be way off base here, but we played horrid D in this series. I watched every inning besides the end of game 1. Brantley just made an awful play today that resulted in the Nix triple. Oh well its a moot point as we took the series on the road against a hot offense. All in all im pleased with the end of the road trip.

People make it sound as if Jack Hannahan didn't play this series? I can't even watch the games and even ESPN was showing his highlight reel stuff. Only the bad we see, only the bad we see, only the bad we see, nothing good, nothing good.

Defense won them the middle game of the series. Game was in the balance when Hannahan started that 5-4-3 in the first and then the plays he made, along with LaPorta's.

Defense was shaky all road trip.

Doesn't matter. No need to overanalyze. Went 3-3 against two tough ballclubs, including one that was hitting the cover off the ball the series before we played them. Sure, we lost to Reyes, but our other two losses were Price and Hellickson. I'll take that every road trip.
