Thank God we got Brantley as the PTBN in the CC deal. Im just not a Laporta fan at all. Im pulling for the guy, but its pretty obvious hell never live up to the hype. He may be a good player one day, not even close to a star though.

Morrow's allowed 9 hits and has 9 strikeouts in 5 innings.

Very strange stat line.

Agreed- if anyone saw my post about Carlos yesterday in the game thread about why Im not worried about his slow start, i feel the exact opposite towards Laporta. Hes got alot of power, but thats his only real tool. Hes turning into a nice 1st baseman, but again nothing special. But it sure beats the hell out of watching Garko trot out there every day.

Can't walk the guys in front of Bautista.

Bautista up with 2 on base here....rather big at bat for Mitch

Beautiful change up there to strike him out!

My fiance on that Corey Patterson play: He took a Shin-Soo Choo route to that ball.

Awesome.

Nice play by Escobar. Tough break for Asdrubal.

Why no contact play up 6? Add on when you can.

Justin Morneau just hit his 2nd of the game. Leyland left Scherzer in too long. 7-6 Twins top 7.

I would celebrate that fact but, the idea of Morneau heating up just before the Twins head into Cleveland doesn't fill me with much joy.

Santana is a different player with protection. I'd like to see Axe Man returned to 4th with Grady 5th until the Pronk gets back.

Not the worst play by Choo, if he did in fact lose it. Can't let it springboard over his head. Still a 6-2 ballgame.

Pretty damn close. He needs to move to Everett's spot a week ago. If he cant play at least solid D hes pointless as a starter.

Great to see the Tribe win again. Let's split the road series with a win tomorrow. Nice to see Pure Rage get another save and Talbot bounce back.
