Team's been doing the improbable and unexpected all year. Why not have Talbot beat Lester to win a series?

Santana is sucking bad. Problem is, if you move him down in the order, who is going to hit #4?

Even if Sizemore comes back, you can't hit him 4th because you would have L-S-L-L-L....that won't work.

Atleast I can get some work done now.

This is what pisses me off, these pitchers who put you out of them game in the first couple of innings. Westrbook was notirious for it. You can give up 5 runs in the first inning.

Gripes:

1. This gives new definition to the phrase "giving BP". At least Carmona would walk 4-5 batters.

2. LaPorta and that wealk ass throw is going to cost us another run or two. I am trying my damndest to like LaPorta but he REALLY swings at some awful shit and makes some stupid decisions.

3. Ok, get Talbot out. This is some pathetic shit. I really am pissed off because I am off today and was really looking fwd to the early start and taking 2/3. Wow he is sucking. Get his ass out, Acta.

And good luck getting run support with the lineup we have out there. What in the world doe we have Buck, Duncan, and Kearns even on the same team at one time? I like Buck. He's a keeper. Couldn't we use another 3b or utility IF instead of 3 extra corner outfielders, one of whom can play 1b (another psoition we do not need depth at)? And Adam Everett is Mike Rouse part II. I watched him play in Houston. He's one of the worst players I have ever seen. Louis Coleman should count whoever he struck out next as his first career strikeout. I can strike out Everett. Hate to be negative, but oh well.

Anyway, let's get some runs! C'mon Dellichaels! I mean Charlie Blagy...I mean let's go Eduardo Broussard!

Should have just let the 1,000th person through the gate start the game, and the 2,000th to take LaPorta's place.

Hermann has no business on the ML roster.

Our 65 run differential is now down to 51...all in one game, and it still isnt over

He's headed for the DL with a case of whiplash after giving up three dingers.

Methinks he's on the next bus to C-Bus.

If you really look at the lineup today, you can almost understand why most people outside of insane hard-core Indians fans don't think they'll be able to hold on to this mojo all season. Hell, looking at that lineup, I'm not even sure. There's only two hitters above .280 for Christsakes.

Can't expect to beat the Red Sox with a punch-and-judy lineup like that, even on getaway day.

Gotta take this beating and learn from it, I guess.

Putnam? Throw a curve ball and promote Hagadone?

I have to think they'll wait until at least the AS break before thinking about Hagadone. I'd love to get a look at the kid. Seems like he's adjusting nicely to a relief role.

If we plan on hitting the trade market at all this season, it would be smart to be preemptive and start looking now. This schedule doesn't ease up for a while and our injury issues are legitimate. A good 45 game start can be wiped out in a hurry.

And Grady will be activated before tomorrow's game. So that will help (despite what skatingtripods is likely to say ;-) ;) ).

This team's pitching depth ain't so deep today and they've been. are and will likely be painfully thin offensively.

Giving away at bats, giving teams extra outs and failing to play the good, fundamental baseball they have te first 7 weeks will bury them faster than quality opponent pitching will.

And they'r still gonna see that.

Lonnie Chisenhall isn't exactly lighting the world on fire in Triple-A, either.

Im fine with the Mannahan for NOW.....but we gotta do something about O-Cab and Everett. Phelps is ready and really should be our starting 2nd baseman now. O-cab would be great in the U-If role.So when grady is activated tomorrow do we send Zeke down? Or do we cut ties with Kearns? Im hoping Austin is let go. He just is a black hole in the lineup, and Zeke gives us speed and OBP abilities that Kearns does not.
