I want to see Fausto come out ahead in a gut-check game. Seems like it's been since 2007.

Does this Boston lineup scare anyone? Besides Gonzalez?

Really, if Crawford could get it going, then it could be a scary lineup. They've got an offensive black hole at catcher, and J.D. Drew has been as fickle as usual, but otherwise it should be a strong offensive team top-to-bottom. The bottom four of Drew-Varitek-Crawford-Sutton should be promising for tonight's game.

Things I did not know: Drew Sutton played 11 games for the Indians last year. I must've blanked that part of the season out of my mind.

Yeah- I need some signed photos of him for my wife and 2 teenage daughters.

When he was with the Reds a couple yrs ago, we were in the OF with a group. The fam thought Sutton was cute, so they yelled at him whenever they thought they could get his attention. "Dreeeeeeew! Hi Dreeeeeeeew!" This went on for a while until he ran out to start an inning and was kind of facing us. They yelled some stuff again and he put his glove to his nose like he was going to scratch it. But then he flipped it up in a little wave and OHHHH baby did he make fans for life. hahaa

Don't get excited about 'lil Peedee (sp?) getting hurt real bad. Seems like Tito was planning on giving him a scheduled day off today anyway.

I'm more interested in us beating on Beckett. He actually went to Tito last time he pitched and asked to be pulled from the game in the 6th. Tito said Beckett plays through a lot so to ask to be taken out was serious. Beckett had a pain in his neck during the game - odd then rather than after pitching. Hope we can give Beckett another BIG pain in his neck (along with several other places...)

Is Josh Beckett moving in slow motion before he throws the pitch? Game should be over by tomorrow's day game start time. If Josh and Veritek move any slower, they'd be going backwards.

Dunno if Jim Ingraham attends games. Ocker more often than not, Hoynes is 50/50 when I'm here, Bastian puts in a ton of time, AC is here often when he's not traveling to Pittsburgh/Detroit for interviews, etc and Dennis Manoloff might sleep here.

Boston media packs this place pretty good.

Saw Reghi come in one night, get a plate of food, eat it during the first inning, then split. But by and large the KNR guys spend time here. I don't know how it goes so south on the air because they put their work in.

I don't hear it and I don't think it exists.

In fact, I'm pretty sure these guys hang out some times in the off-season and play golf.... also, I'm pretty sure Underwood has stayed at Mannings place in Arizona during spring training.

I will say though... again..... Mike Hargrove is just awful in the booth.

They may hang togrther, but the pure condescension in Manning's voice when Orlando Cabrera got hit inthe head means there is some major passive-aggressive shit going on with that friendship. Manning thinks Underwood is amoron. He never talked that way to John Saunders.
