I heard the phrase "smoke and mirrors" about three times, I heard the "we weren't ready back in April" excuse, I heard about how Boston's on the upswing and we're the walking wounded, I heard about how Boston has all the "household names," and I heard about how much better the competition is in the AL East. All in five excruciating minutes.
The sense of entitlement here is overpowering: if the Red Sox didn't write a big check for it, well then it can't be any good. And they have the audacity to hate the Yankees for what they do.
Let's go out there and CRUSH them.

BTW, here's part of the reason for the rain delay:
That's in North Royalton, OH. About a 20 min ride south of downtown. The heavy stuff missed downtown for the most part, but it was nasty in the area.

It's blacked out for me here. I was watching on STO anyway.
Maybe it's blacked out in STO's area?

I was wondering the same thing. He doesn't have to worry about that stupid prick Ryan Kalish ending his season again.

I'm in Rochester, NY so I don't get STO.

Hope you're right fairvis. Good night to listen to some storms that don't wash out the game on TV.

Probably would have been called completely if they had played up here; been raining lightly since 4 with a couple steadier rains. Weather sucks practically anywhere from the Mississippi east.RedDawg53 wrote:I dont think I've seen this many rain delays/PPD 1/4 through the season before. Not just the Tribe, the whole league.
FWIW, either of those palaces would be going for about 2/3 of a million up here. We're 60 miles SE of Boston and our little 3-bedroom would go for at least a quarter-mill.skatingtripods wrote:
