Cincy Series This Weekend- Who's Going?

Unread postby peeker643 » Thu May 19, 2011 7:00 pm

Separate thread from the NY Times thread this stuff is trickling into.

What days if any?

Adam- You on the wall tomorrow night?

Wall on Sat. Lower deck RF Fri. Mezzanine Sunday.

With the big crowd, the Porch will be tough to secure since I can't get downtown until 6:30 on weeknights. Sucks 'cause I don't want to be anywhere but the Porch. But, we bought tickets online so I purposely got the middle of the aisle. If we have to move for anyone (seats 7 & 8 in a 14-seat row), I'll be pissed. Far enough in to the row to avoid vendors blocking my sight lines. Hope for midgets/little kids in the row in front of me. Preferably midgets. More fun for between innings.

Free tix for Sunday = mezzanine.

I'll be downtown way early on Saturday if anyone wants to grab a beer.

First game of the year for us, tomorrow. Also the most I've ever spent on seats. We'll be in section 142.
Anybody ever sat in the section? Is it a pretty good view?

I wanted to go Friday.

Called about tickets yesterday. The bleachers, lower reserve, and mezzanine were all sold out. Those are my go to spots.

I'm home for the week so I'm not gunna drive an hour to sit in the upper deck. I'm glad fans are showing up but I bet the majority haven't been to a game yet this year.

I'll be going to the game Monday. Bet they'll be even more douchey sox fans to make fun of this time 'round. It's also going to be on ESPN2 :thumb up:

Buy a cheap seat. Go to the mezzanine. Stand where those long metal bar/tables are behind the sections.

Gonna go and sit with those corpses until the silence and hate drives me absolutely nuts. With a full house options after that are limited. Or maybe I'll get in, set up and go down to the rail right before gates open. But I'll be there somewhere.

Game takes on a bit more importance coming off a couple losses.

We drove in from Detroit today for tomorrow's game. We have been averaging 2 games a month...screw high gas prices we are making history!! Plus we have munchkins so we get to run the bases :)

I went yesterday. Good pitchers duel and we win on a HR by a scrub.

Took my dad to his first game in about 13 years today. He hates the heat and the crowds and prices of everything, but I was really glad to have some time with him. He enjoyed himself today despite the sun beating down.

Did mention when we went to the Porch around the 7th inning that he has no idea how I can stand there all the time for an entire game.

How do you do that? You go to a lot of games too.

I like to stand and cheer but don't think I'd enjoy standing the whole game.
