That was a rope from Hafner. Beautiful. Love that he jumped all over the get-me-over first pitch.

Santana walks. Hafner with a 3-run double.

Deja vu.

You all need my landscaper. After 9 years of water every spring we had the yard regraded big time. Not a drop this year! Hope things dry up for you all soon too.

Dude across the street from me was cutting his grass on Sunday when it was raining. Must be tired of looking at his ugly wife in her leopard stretch pants. So much so that he cuts the grass when his front yard looks like a wetland.

I like the pop Brantley's getting off the bat, but I worry he might fall in love with that power pull stroke a bit to much and forget about doing what he does best, drive the ball to all fields. IMHO.

I wish we'd have sent Carlos Carrasco to the NBA Draft Lottery so that he could represent the Indians.

Good inning Carlos. Maddeningly inconsistent. Can make it look easy at times and can be downright painful to watch for an inning.

His approach and eye are unparalleled. He might go 0-4, but see 30 pitches. Nearly 1/3 of an opposing pitchers outing.

Love how Santana came out and said, "yer shit is filthy, trust it. Hey look at Josh. Pitch to contact and trust yer stuff." He might be the leader that Victor never really was. :hide:

After 2 quick outs, Brantley has to take some pitches there. Hope CarCar is ready to get back out. I'd have Smith and Pestano in the pen going.

Boy.

You can see Asdrubal and Brantley both maturing in terms of picking pitches to drive. That comes with ABs and it's really coming more quickly than I thought it would with Brantley.

ACab is looking to drive the ball more too as he gets more familiar with pitchers and situations.

That's great to see.

I wish Perez threw more strikes and didn't worry about what the papers are talking about his velocity.

Perez was looking Kerry Wood-esque there at the end. All gas and no location.

You can see Asdrubal and Brantley both maturing in terms of picking pitches to drive. That comes with ABs and it's really coming more quickly than I thought it would with Brantley.

ACab is looking to drive the ball more too as he gets more familiar with pitchers and situations.

That's great to see.

^^^^^^This this this. Someone up above mentioned Brantley not falling in love with the sweet stroke. I see your point, but, if pitchers want to keep testing him by throwning straight ball under his hands, he has the bat speed to turn on that SOB. Keep on keeping on. As for AssCab, man that guy looks like such a different hitter than he did 2 years ago. His average is down a bit, but he has way more pop HR or no HR. He's learning he can actually DRIVE the ball the other way rather than slapping it.
The improvement of him and Brantley has been the funnest thing to watch this season, with the exception of one Mr Tomlin.....and the return of Pronk. And Masterson living up to his potential. Ahh f#$#k it, its a team effort and every game has been a blast to watch. Its great to be excited as the work day wraps up and I know the Tribe is playing. Haven't felt like this since '95 and I was only 13 then. :woot:

Does Cabrera have too much power to be hitting 2nd at this point?
