How is 17-1 working out for you?

Last year if the Tribe got ahead 5-0 in the 3rd inning nobody would have suggested that the game was blown open. But with Tomlin this year a 5-run lead feels pretty comfortable.

Tomlin just needs two more outs and they can let Durbin and Germano finish it out. Too bad Marte isn't around - this would be a good chance to find out if that 1-2-3 inning last year was a fluke.

Enjoying it. But keep adding on. Ride the momentum.

I (inlove) Tomlin. How does he do that voodoo that he does so well?

No way, save some runs for tomorrow. Too bad they didn't stick with the original plan of starting Mazzaro tomorrow. His ERA went from 4.50 to 22.75 in one hour. I wonder if that's a record.

ACab with a leadoff double. Geez, here we go again. Maybe even Choo will get a hit.

I'd be putting Everett in for Uncle OCab. The Royals emptied their bench, no reason why we shouldn't.

The Royals have to play six games in the next six days. With the way the Tribe is wearing out their bullpen tonight this game is going to affect them possibly beyond this two-game series.

I think they're tired of our guys' eight pitch at-bats. I mean, look at the Royals. That inning was FAST. Our grinders never stop grinding. Can't blame them. They play the game the right way...

Anybody else glad we never have to hear that shit anymore?

A win tomorrow, which is hopefully more likely as they're gonna have to get a AAA pitcher up, could really put a foot firmly on the Royals necks.

Our son called this evening and like a good mom I talked to him. Silly me. It was top of the 4th and we were up 8-0. I come back 38 minutes later to find out that Tomlin had given up a run??? Sheesh... At least at that point we were up 17-1. :woot: Boy this was fun but I hope we were using the runs that had been assigned the the two rain-outs and not for the next three coming up.

Before tonight's game started Tribe was scoring 4.89 runs a game. After tonight's the average went up to 5.26. Seems like barely a blip for all the work.

Nope, just 22. 14 runs in the 2nd inning in a game started by Chien-Ming Wang.

Yesterdays win, combined with Philly's loss, gives the Tribe the best record in baseball again. 1 game over Philly, 2.5 over TB for best in the AL.

When the shit was beat into our heads for 8 years, it is hard to forget it. It is like that shit from the Manchurian Candidate

"All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break them for no one."
