looks like tiny little bursts of rain may disrupt the game a few times according to CNN weather

Radar look like it should clear up soon. Any word from the peeps who live in C-town what it looks like?

I've checked three different radars and not one of them looks bad enough that we should be subjected to the Nick and Bobby show. I'm wondering if Wedgie keeps paying the umps off to keep the game delayed.

There is an absolute dimepiece on the golf show STO is running during the rain delay.

Gully wash. Tripods sent me a pic from his phone. Outfield and track looked like a water fowl sanctuary. And I'm posting this from Lodi OH where it's raining buckets and buckets. Shitty all over the region I guess.

Call me stupid, but will they start from scratch, or resume where they left off. Didn't the Tribe have two guys on in the second when it got called?

They'll start over. It was postponed as opposed to suspended so they'll go from scratch when they do it again.

My buddy uploaded it to Facebook from his phone.

So does White get the ball again today? Imagine they don't want to totally skip him in the rotation.

Once he got warmed up and pitched he was done for his rotation turn (11 pitches). He'll be available out of the BP on Monday, but we prolly won't see him till Thursday.

Per Chris Perez (I asked him via twitter - so cool) just getting warmed up counts as an 'appearance' physically, regardless if you see game action.

I thought that field had unbelieveable drainage ability.

Maybe ex-Indians know how to stop it up.

Former Tribe managers who end up at Seattle have ways to work the weather to postpone games. Remember when Grover was at Seattle and kept arguing that the visibility was too bad (snow) to see the ball when we just needed one more out to have an official game and a Tribe (opening day?) win. Hargrove's "human rain (snow) delay" even worked as a manager. He spent enough time arguing that it got bad enough that he was right. Didn't we end up playing that home game against Seattle... in Minnesota??

Grover was actually managing the Orioles when that happened. Kept Paul Byrd from a five-inning no-hitter.

No, that was with Seattle. I remember Adrian Beltre playing third base and his 3 errors, practically wearing a snowsuit under his uniform.

We played that one home game against Seattle on a Monday when SEA was back in town. We had to lose a home date and play one of the SEA games in SEA when we went out there.

Season "home" opener was in Milwaukee against Anaheim.

Yeah, you guys were right. I feel old. My Tribe memories are fading from just seven years ago...

Edit: I was thinking of the 2003 Indians-Orioles game that went 13 innings and included Grover arguing for a snow delay after Jay Gibbons lost an Ellis Burks fly ball in the snow in Baltimore.
