Got lucky when the left fielder misjudged that fly ball by Astro and let it get over his head, giving us an extra out which allowed Hafner to hit. But I'll take it.

Yeah, Santana looks helpless at the plate right now. But he still has a great eye and doesn't chase anything. He's still drawing walks. But he should absolutely not be hitting cleanup.

He also had a throwing error and forced LaPorta to dive on a pickoff throw. Marson is outplaying him both offensively and defensively.

Hope Grady is ready to go soon. Kearns just ain't cutting it, although he did manage an infield hit and a line drive to the left fielder tonight.

I don't think I've ever seen that much of a show of emotion by Pronk as when he spiked his helmet rounding third.

The Brantley 2B was worse. He ran a straight line instead of diagonally back. That ball should been caught. I don't know if he gets Asdrubal's, but Brantley's should have been caught and that changes the dynamic of the inning.

Listened to the game all over central MA. The End came while we were sitting at a read light in Worcester. I'm bouncing in the seat, waving my hands and screaming "woo woo pronk!" while two cars of people looked at me like I was nuts. Nah, just a Tribe fan!

And how about the guy that got doubled off 1st base on a fly to Choo because he thought there were two outs? The M's really helped us out, but Hafner still has to hit it over the fence against their closer, so it was a well-deserved win.

DellucciTG made the point that Wedge should have walked Pronk and pitched to OCab. Well, OCab has been clutch for the Tribe this year but he's not swinging the bat well right now and it would have been a righty-righty matchup, so that looks like another Mariner screwup.

Two extra base hits for Brantley in one game, including his second homer in a week. The kid is starting to show a little pop now that the weather is warming up.

Also missing tagging up and going from 2B to 3B on a deep fly ball to Brantley. There were two outs and it probably would have been inconsequential, but always take that extra base in case of a wild pitch/passed ball/whatever else.

LOL, typical Wedge. The moron gave away far too many of those type of games while in our dugout. It's good to see him give 1 back to the good guys. Too bad we only face his team about 6 times per year.
