Manning dropping great lines about the Ump's ball bag and sack.

Passed ball, we'll take it. Got lucky because Choo couldn't deliver again. Thought they might walk him to get to Santana.

This is the spot where Wedge woulda left Tomlin into die.
Jury still out on Acta ... but I agree with 95% of the moves the guy makes. I just generally agree with the way the cat manages a baseball game, from the lineup card to the late inning bullpen moves.

Acta's pushed the right buttons most of the year, but I wonder about throwing Perez out there in a non-save situation.

Almost every manager puts their closer in during a tie game at home in the 9th inning.

Un.Be.Lieveable! 14-game streak at home...and this was a memorable one. Do we suck and we're extremely lucky...or are we cunning in our ways? Um, don't answer....

Well ya gotta admit it's better than the last couple of nightmare seasons. I don't want to get excited (after all I've cheered for the Tribe....you don't need to know how long) and I keep fearing a June swoon. Sure hope I'm wrong. After all, the pros have been wrong about stuff. Boston Herald
cover story was "Best Team Ever. Hope people are using that on the bottom of their bird cages.

Sorry I took McPeek away from the game thread. He came down and watched the last 4 innings on the Porch with me.
A game we didn't deserve to win thanks to all the blown opportunities, but a win's a win.
Tough go of it tomorrow with Price v. Carrasco, but we've done the improbable so far, time to do it again.
