On the face of it, it looks like 3 tough pitching matchups. But dig a little deeper...

Sonnanstine in 23.1 innings has been taken apart by the Indians to the tune of a 9.51ERA. 8 of our hitters are hitting over .300 against him.

David Price has been a tough customer but then onto James Shields who is winless (0-4) against the tribe, with 4 of our regulars hitting over .333 against him.

All that together with our dominance at home means a series win.

Tampa has won 8 in a row on the road. Tribe has won 13 straight at home. Something has got to give.

Tampa started off 1-8 and has gone 19-6 since then. They're playing as well as the Indians right now, maybe better. But you're right, Sonnenstine is a dog. Remember how Ben Francisco used to own his ass? He's making his first start since 2009 because of an injury. With Tomlin on the mound l like our chances in game 1.
