Ah, I dunno, don't have a good feeling about today. Probably related to the fact that I'm in charge of a banquet tonight, have decided that most women, when in a formal group setting, can be real bitches (my hubby laughs when we go to parties and I'm the only female in the group of guys talking sports), and can't wait for tonight to be over. Well, 5:30 is looking pretty good. I have to be there to set up and the first words out of my mouth will be to the barkeep asking "what top-shelf Bourbons do you have?" I'm thinking the taste buds and wallet would agree on Eagle Rare. Any other suggestions? The way today is going cost won't come into play at all an hour from now... Sorry 'bout the TMI.

Oh yeah, Go Tribe! Game still on at 6:30 I'll have Live Score showing me play by play on my phone.

I don't think it was a bad play necessarily. The result was awful, but you expect the second baseman to go to first with that and it looked like Hafner was going to beat it out, so going for the run would have been a good play.

I just wish he was looking at Ellis as he was sprinting around 3rd. Don't just run with your head down in that situation. I like the attempt, but you have to look up so you can go back if you see Ellis coming home.
