He deserves to have a proper go at the ML level. Circumstances just weren't right for him here.

Good luck to him.

Rain depressing attendance must have necessitated the trade.

Some warm weather and dry skies and maybe we can keep guys like him.

Hmm... I would argue keeping guys like him for the last 40 yars has depressed attendance AND caused the permanent low pressure system over the city.

Yeah, they had to make a move when they got Josh Rodriguez back from the Pirates. Wish him nothing but the best, and hopefully he gets a shot in MIL.

Does Redneck have him on his signature line yet?

Redneck only puts those names on his signature line because he can't write his own.

Fuckin' Antonetti. Nothing changes man, nothing changes.

Fuckin' Shapiro.

Here we go again with trading away players for "prospects". If this front office had any real baseball men they would know that the fans want to win NOW.

Brown is a stiff. He has no power. He is not near the same league as Branyan, Scott, BP, Guthrie, Carl Sadler, etc. He is more along the lines of Danny Peoples or Willie Martinez.

This is why I love the start to this season. If the Tribe was 9-21 instead of 21-9, this thread would have five pages to it right now.

Lots of petty stuff really becomes petty when they're winning.

The big news is that the Dodgers offered us Jamey Carroll for him, straight up. But Dolan is so cheap he wouldn't take on the payroll.

If the Tribe was 9-21 Jordan Brown would be brought up and put in the lineup, not pawned off on Milwaukee.

And you're right, the thread would be up to five pages by now, with 90% of the posts similar to the first one by motherscratcher.
