Speed is pretty useless if you can't get on base. .264 OBP coming into tonight. Sure he has used his speed to beat out a couple grounders, but I want more from my 3-hitter than just beating out ground balls.

I don't know. For as little as Santana is doing, he still has his good batting eye going with a 1:1 BB:B ratio. His problem is when he makes contact, it doesn't go anywhere. Maybe he still can't get any power because of the leg injury last year plus the akward slide he had a few weeks ago which seemed to give him some pain.
